William Smith & Sons Organic Cider

This development creates Australia’s First orchard-based Organic Cider in the heart of the Apple Isle’s horticulture hub, the Huon Valley. This project is to build a high-profile cidery, national beverage brand & long lasting tourism drawcard in the form of a Visitor Centre Cellar Door & Ciderhouse Cafe Bar, attached to the apple-sorting shed, located in the heart of the working orchard. It will be located 25mins south of Hobart in the famed orcharding hamlet of Grove, just north of Huonville. William Smith & Sons will produce Tasmania’s First Organic Cider, & Australia’s first organic cider to be be 100% grown, crafted & packaged on the same property. This will all happen in the HuonValley, to be marketed & distributed nationally and internationally.
